 ABOUT US

Cathy and Ross hold a vested interest in Chinese creations due to their close relationship to the country. Ross Clark spent a number of years teaching in China, which he met his wife, Cathy, a native of China. Their relationship is strengthened by their mutual adoration for the Chinese culture. The Chinese Civil war of the 1920s and '30s, the Japanese invasion of the '30s and '40s, and the Communist Revolution of the '50s and '60s ravaged the country, destroying many cultural and artistic masterpieces.
The Clarks make it their mission to find furniture and accessories and restore them to their original majesty. With antiques dating back to the mid-19th century, the couple travels to China four times a year to personally acquire the pieces on display in their showroom. Each piece of furniture that is chosen is then transported to warehouses in Shanghai, disassembled, cleaned, repaired and revamped in order to ensure a long life in the United States.

Situated in the heart of the Heights, Wind Water Gallery brings Chinese treasures to the Houston market.  Cathy and  Ross hold a vested interest in Chinese creations due to their close relationship to the country. The unique paradigm of feng shui translates literally into "Wind Water".  Modern and contemporary architecture and design lend easily to the sleek lines of Chinese accents.  The Clarks also plan to expand their showroom and encompass all Asian cultures.  From grandiose furnishings to intricate jade Buddha sculptures, the furniture, accessories and gifts from Wind Water Gallery make any recipient feel special and any home distinct.
